Wedding Stationery Contract

This agreement is entered into this 30th day of September 2021 (“Effective Date”) by and between “Client”, organized under the laws of California, and Anna Quach, organized under the laws of California, located in Monterey Park, California 91755, (“La Design Boutique”). This agreement is considered valid binding whether in original, scanned, photographic or copy format.

Client is required to read this page and, by making payment, agrees that the terms and conditions described in this agreement are understood prior to proof approval and production.



Client wishes to hire La Design Boutique to provide graphic design and printing services. The specific services requested, and the requirements and details required in those services as requested by Client are as follows (the “Deliverables”):

1. Wedding Invitation Suite Custom Graphic Design Services

     - Invitation, RSVP Card, Details Card

     - or as noted in invoice if other items are added on

2. Wedding Invitation Suite Printing Services

     - Invitation, RSVP Card, Details Card

     - or as noted in invoice if other items are added on

3. Wedding Day Signage items

     - As noted in invoice

For the total quantity as stated in invoice. 

Client shall be entitled to the above listed services. Any additional services beyond the above listed shall be chargeable at a rate of $75 an hour.


It is the Client’s responsibility to carefully review proofs for any error(s). Client must approve all materials before project finalization and proceeding to production. This includes and not limited to spelling, layout, designs, website URLs, QR Codes, addresses, phone numbers, directions, etc. Once final approval is given, any errors needing correction will be at Client’s expense.


Price changes may be affected by an increase or decrease in supplier, service and/or production costs. Quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days. A change in quantity, paper, and any other items after payment is subject to an additional cost. Change in scope is subject to additional design cost.


The Parties agree to the Payment and Payment Terms as noted in the invoice and email correspondences.

The deposit is non-refundable.

Amount Due Upon Signing of Agreement: Total amount


The deposit for each project is a set amount noted via email communication. The deposit is due at the time of order. Design will not begin without the deposit. The deposit will be applied to the total amount due for the wedding invitations/other products. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid in full before moving to production.


A timeline and estimated completion date will be included via email communication. La Design Boutique will strive to work within this timeline; however, it is important for Client to send required information and approve proofs in a timely manner and by any deadlines communicated to Client via email. La Design Boutique will not be responsible for not meeting deadlines due to delayed client action or response. Production time on complete invitation suites is approximately 2-3 weeks but varies with every order depending on the complexity and amount of components in the suite and will be communicated to Client. Additional rush charges may be incurred if Client needs it sooner than that.


Guest lists must be submitted upon proof approval. La Design Boutique requires a spreadsheet format with names and addresses listed exactly how Client desires it to be on the label. La Design Boutique is not responsible for any incorrect addresses or spelling by Client.


All changes, and additions (such as invitation count) must be made 2 months prior to the wedding date to not incur an additional rush charge. This does not apply to special arrangements, or any other last-minute agreements. Five rounds of design changes are included. Once we reach the 6th digital proof (6th round of design changes), a fee of $20 per additional round will be applied to order. This applies to minor changes to the text and design. If changes are made to the main design, these are subject to additional fees.

Changes requested after final proof approval will be charged $75 and require a new proof to be sent. If in mid-production, fees may be assessed to order new materials. Rush fees will be applied if changes or additions are made or if Client deadlines are not met.


All shipping and postage will be assumed by the Client. La Design Boutique is not responsible for any damages incurred during shipping and/or mailing or invitations that are not delivered. Any shipping charges will be added to final invoice. La Design Boutique will carefully package everything to avoid damage, but if package suffers damage in transit, Client must file a claim against the shipping carrier to recover the value. Client may also pick-up order to avoid shipping charges and damage.


La Design Boutique strives to make every single invitation perfect and consistent, however, since these are handmade, there may be a slight variance from one to another.


Colors may slightly vary between different computer screens from what is printed.


Order will be delivered for Client to collate and insert into envelopes unless this option was added to Client’s package and paid for. Postage is also the responsibility of the Client unless added to Client’s package and paid for.


Invitations occasionally incur additional postage because of their weight, or due to the shape of the finished piece. Client is responsible for putting enough postage on the invitations and ensure the proper handling by the postal office. Client must confirm with post office if the invitations require hand-cancelling. La Design Boutique is not responsible for invitations or stationery that is lost in the mail or is destroyed through the mailing process.


If there is a need to cancel Client’s order, please contact La Design Boutique right away. If Client’s final approval has not been received and project has not gone into production, Client is responsible for deposit and any materials that have been purchased. If project has gone into the production process Client is responsible for the entire amount as stated in agreement. Because of the personalization of custom stationery, orders are non-refundable, without exception. Every effort is made to assure satisfaction. If there is an error on the part of La Design Boutique, we will do our best to correct the problem.


There are no refunds to be made as long as all the items have been delivered to client. Client has approved all sizing, types of papers, types of envelopes, and designs at time of payment and approval of digital proofs and will receive everything in entirety. Any discrepancies thereafter are at the responsibility of the client. 


Final designs and files belong to La Design Boutique. La Design Boutique owns the designs and files and reserves the right to market, exhibit, and/or sell the designs and files if so chooses. La Design Boutique also owns all the design concepts and content files created during the process. La Design Boutique reserves the right to display the designs and files in portfolios and promotional displays and propose to other clients. Designs are not to be resold, copied or reproduced in any way without consent. Client is required to credit La Design Boutique anytime photos, videos, or media of the goods are displayed on social media or websites.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Agreement to be executed by their duly authorized representatives as of the Effective Date which is determined by the date that payment is made.
